Our story began during my freshman year of college. I was walking through the campus hall when I saw a lovely young woman walking with her 2 friends.
Who would’ve thought, a year later she would be standing before me, leading an event for the student club I’d joined.
At the club’s next outing, a beach trip to Anyer, we finally had the chance to connect. Soon we were exchanging DMs through Instagram, until 6 months later our first date came to be. I took her to PRJ, a popular event she had surprisingly never attended before.
From that moment on, we grew closer until I finally asked her to be my girlfriend. While others might give flowers, I knew her love for books. So, I popped the question with a novel—something that spoke to her heart.
And so began our six-year journey, filled with both joyous highs and challenging lows. Yet, through all the challenges, including long distance, even a few near-breakups, we’ve stayed by each other’s side.
Today, we stand here, ready to take the next big step. Because we believe, #JODohpastiBIsa.
