When the world paused, a new beginning was quietly unfolding. We met through Toastmasters Club, which went online during the pandemic. From a simple birthday message in 2021, we began chatting across time zones—Mauritius to Surabaya—and found ourselves drawn to each other through deep conversations about faith and life. Our friendship blossomed into love through Zoom Bible studies and daily check-ins, even with a 3-hour difference and thousands of miles between us. After visa challenges and changed plans, we finally met in person in Kuala Lumpur in January 2023. A year later, we got engaged—and now, we’ve closed the distance for good. For us, it’s always been a “Journey of 3000 miles”—a story of love, patience, and God’s perfect timing.
